Has anyone installed the 151.beta patch ? I am downloading it now, but don't want to use it until I get some input.Thanks ------------------

I have downloaded the fsc151b5.zip from MH's site (months ago?). Haven't played much, but do know that all it does is make another program file (app.exe I think) which looks like the original FSSDOE and which uses all the other fighter squadron files.In short, you will not "destroy" your usual fighter squadron setup; you either run "FSC Beta" or "Fighter Squadron" from your Start Menu, and away you go. Same here. I have read of a few who had problems uninstalling it, but as it runs separately, you can choose which to use, and I have not had it interfere with my regular SDOE install.Some have tried it out recently online; there should be some threads on the results if you search, or page back a couple of weeks.

I have no problems with the 1.51 patch.
In fact I have problems with my display
using the 1.5 patch rather than the 1.51
patch (the terrain loading screen is
fragmented, and when loaded into the cockpit
I only see the left hand portion and the
gunsight rather than a centred view). This
means I can't fly online as 1.5 is the online
standard.[My system is Celeron 300A@450, Voodoo 3
2000 AGP, January retail drivers, 64Mb RAM]

Aaron_Turner,The cockpit problem only happens when you run in 1024X768 in Glide with 1.5, If you change the resolution to 800x600 it should be ok. Elric IP: Logged |

that P38 is on JT site.go to the hangar and click on updates. then click on the update for the P38 cockpit and it will take you to his site. you can fine it there. Razer IP: Logged |

I only use the bèta when I'm going to fly my DoverNight, cause the bèta is essential for changing the sky colour inside the mission file.
