please don t install this patch there is a bug somewhere .
we just try to play online and we had to live 5 consecutive ctd!!!
and the best is that is very difficult to find your way back to the 5.3a!
personnaly i crash even offline too!
please comment and find a solution for the guys like me !

lfbpro the only thing I can reccomend is to try with a fresh install. Online you said you had the Nations addon as well as a france beta. The france beta could be your problem. The only part of the patch that I can think could cause you any problems would be the startup.ppf if you had aircraft that needed additions that aren't public yet.

I am sorry you had problems and I couldn't help. I suggest you try a clean install of the game without all the beta and prerelase stuff.

ok guys all is ok now!
what i did?just renamed my aircraft folder and reinstall the beta 5.3b patch.
for all who have pb like me it could be a solution.
but i agree with you dogmA the best way should be a fresh install,so do it before being online it will preserve your nerves in case of difficulties!

Just for info; I had same problem, but fixed it by going back to my original startup.ppf ( which was nearly the same date, anyway ). I had the same problem when I had the Hurricane, and had to delete the plane and all refs to it from my startup. I still need to compare my files and see where the problem might be for me; it has to be somewhere in my aircraft folder, too, probably a reference to a particular airfoil.

If I do find it, I will post here as follow up. I am sure only a few will have that problem, but it might be helpful to know what causes it. Besides, I would like to have the Hurricane work for me.
