I figured i'd run a few designs by the community since it was all of you that made the site so good. The cool stuff is all code based so you wont see any of it in images. I do plan to redo all of the art work to give it more of a WW2 military feel. Maybe some bullet holes and weathered paint would look cool?Well here is 3 images of what i've been playing with. First image is how i wanted the hangar to look from the begining. Nice Olive Drab color scheme with some weathered text and images.
NOTE: weathered text and images not pictured.
 The Second image is just the first but back to the black background and some different images.
 The third image is just the old layout with a new color.
If you want to vote for which one you like, then go right ahead. I have a few things with work and wont be able to really work on the site till tomorrow. should give you guys a day or so to pick the one you like.

Remember these are just early layouts. The reason 3 looks better is cause it's finished compaired to the other two. i'm just trying new over all layouts. IP: Logged |

Razer!I know I may sound like a bore, but why change something that works? I think your site is very well done, easy to navigate and it looks good. I especially like the left marginal with the different topics, that gives a good "view" of the site. Keep up the good work/Robert PS. I have now read your previous post about your site Razer, so now I understand why you want to (have to) change it. Good luck! DS.

Razer,
I like #3 although they all are great. You wouldn't happen to own a CD burner would you? In an earlier post, Spoonman talked about putting out all of the downloads that he could gather on a CD. Since you have a good collection, I would be most interested in something that I could refer back to.

well call me boring but I like the military look also. So i took the olive drab site and the old layout, then I put both sites in the SDOE. Then i put onepage on the ground and then put the other onthenose of a P51D. Then I got the P51 up to 20k and put it into a nose dive and crashed it onto the other page.After removing the wreckage, this is what i had.  I really like this layout so if you don't like it, oh well. As soon as i touch it up some to make everything line up i'll post. Razer IP: Logged |
