Wow you did a great job on that skin

If we get a couple of more Korean war vintage planes, I just might have to do an F4U-5 or F4U-7 to do it justice...

isn't that an F4U-7? I have a pic of the exact same color scheme, and I think same squadron, the pic I have has the serial #15 with the same markings

Well, ya made me go and look it up now. The only customer for the F4U-7 was the French Aeronavale. Basically the same airplane as the AU-1, used by the Marines in Korea, which is outwardly identical to the F4U-4B.

Only significant difference is load-carrying capability. AU-1 and F4U-7 can carry 4000 lbs of ordnance vs 2000 for the -4.

Only difference in the model would be some extra hardpoints (looks like 10 total in my picture) and changing the loadout file.

The F4U-5 was the fastest varient at 470 mph (!), and I thought France had some, but they only had AU-1's and F4U-7's apparently.
