Yardstick Pilot	posted 04-15- 05:23 PM Airfoils are installing to media. You need to move the relevant file to the aircraft/airfoils directory. BTW I was working on Boris Safonov's Type 18 tonight. It carries the legend 'Za Stalina' on the port side (illustrated in the picture I have) but on the starboard side the legend 'Smert fashistam!' is not illustrated. Diego Lozano Pilot	posted 04-15- 06:47 PM If you are still having trouble with CTD even after you have updated to the NEWEST version and redirected the Airfoil file to the *\Media\aircraft directory....make sure you have added the lines to the CORRECT startup file. The startup file in Media is the correct one NOT the one in your Fighter Squadron directory...been doing this a while and in the rush to check out the LATEST, I added it to the wrong one!CTD!!!!!! Spyder Pilot	posted 04-15- 07:57 PM This is where the ppf manager helps. You won't make a mistake such as this because it looks for the startup.ppf in \media. Thanks for the startup.txt lines Laika, made adding them a snap. It would be better in later releases to name them by your aircraft ie. Laika 801 Pilot	posted 04-16- 11:15 AM I removed all I16 related files out of my FS folder and downloaded the Full Version zip. It works ! No CTD´s and it uses the correct named texture files ! Since the Update is the same zip file with some files removed (like panel textures, GUI, etc.) it also should work fine now ! I would be glad if someone could be so kind and tell me that it works now ! LK IP: Logged
