Finally Ready for Public consumption. http://www.3dgw.com/simfiles/scripts/singlefile.php3?fileid=62

The 5.3b patch fixes the following:

Gun Sights fixed on the 262 and open canopy fixed to be seen from further away.

Lancaster needs more "Fuel" in missions. Must not run out at anytime during the mission if AI controlled

Latest Startup.ppf

5.3a patch is included

Installer added for ease of installation.

The installer will also verify that your par files are correct as best as possible.

If all goes well with the 5.3b patch and (hopefully) we see less missmatching of aircraft we can adopt it as the Online Standard in a week or so.

Please inform me of any errors that you find.
Thanks to Razer and Esox for their help.

am I then right in saying that the patch is basicaly the Me262 patch that me and Reaper have been giving out? or does the startup.ppf really make a major difference?

Oh, the part about the lanc, we know about not letting it run out of fuel, are you saying that it's fixed in the patch, or that it's not?

Thanks Dogma

If nobody can find any holes to poke in it this week then nextweekend I believe it should be the new online standard.

Yes this should be the latest 262 which razer sent to me.

There is a new lanc.sm but Razer would have to explain whats new there.

After installing the 5.3b patch I noticed the hurricane is no where to be found.
Any suggestions!

I flew a mission lastnight with the hurricane in it. Did you remove or rename your aircraft folder before doing the install?

Anyone else see this problem ?

I will look into it when I get home from work today.

I created a few Hurricane missions lastnight and flew it both online and off with 5.3b so you might want to re-install the Hurricane again.

You aren't by chance the one that told me online that you had to remove the CLARKYH line from your startup.ppf are you ? As the Hurricane needs that line which was included in the 5.3b startup.ppf

Hope that helps.

d0gmA, does this new startup.ppf have all the new planes in it? This is getting old installing a new startup.ppf only to find out that you can not fly some other planes because the startup.ppf didn't have those planes in it Thanks for getting everything together in one basket

well, we've tried to have a standard on the startup, this way when planes come out there files are already in there and nothing has to be changed.

I can fly all the contest planes with the startup.ppf that came with the 5.3b other than the new I16 that just came out and had some airfoil additions.

I made a util that lets you drag and drop the airfoil lines into your startup.ppf but I can't get people interested in adding the required txt file to their plane packs.
This way you don't have to worry about copying the startup.ppf over your current one and wiping your list out.
Zoy and Laika have agreed to add the txt file to their current or future plane zips at this stage.
See the thread on the property file manager somewhere.
