Spanky the Mad Dog Pilot	posted 04-07- 02:07 PM Spanky here.. Hi guys. Tail made a new app and I tried it and its cool. So I thought I would post somthing about it. Heres what he said about it: I made a standalone app to check the servers but it's only been tested on my machine use at your own risk: -- I made a little ICQ-like app tonite that sits in your system tray and flashes/makes a sound when people are on the servers. I find it handier than the web page list. http://tailslide.firelight.dynip.com/Files/SDOEBeeperv1.zip Unzip, run the setup prog. You'll get an SDOEBeeper menu added to your start bar. When you run it you get a little icon in your system tray. Double click to bring up a list of servers or right click pick options to set alarm and how frequently it checks. I've only run it on my PC does it work on anyone elses? -------------------------- me again it runs on mine too if it asks to update files let it and it will want to reboot your comptuer do it and then run the setup program again Then click on it in your start menu. Tailslide Pilot	posted 04-08- 10:46 AM Your VB runtimes and your microsoft internet transfer control. It won't ask you to update them unless your version is older than the one in the install. I do this professionally, I wouldn't write anything to clobber your system... honest TS IP: Logged
