To start with the easy stuff taking it that the install is perfect, you have Official Patch 1.5 and Plane Pack 5.3 including the "a" patch (or 5.3a)

When you want to fly online, go into the Network part in the main game menu, and select Internet. You should then be given a list of servers, fro mthis select Cali12 server, and go into the Fighter Squadron area. if everyone thats using the server is flying you wont see any names listed, or any mission running listed, so it's worth hanging around till ppl get there, or finish their mission.

The times that we mostly fly in Cali12 are about 10pm EST onwards, and there's usually about 10/15 ppl there.

Note though, that if you don't have PP5.3a installed, you wont be able to fly because you game is not compatible with ours, and also, that if you don't have the official patch 1.5 or are using the Beta Patch 1.5.1 then you wont see anybody listed at all even if they are there, becuase you will have a completely different game system to that which we are using.

Sometimes you may see a game night advertised as testing or using Patch 1.5.1, you should only ever use that patch for these games.

I was on Calif 12 last night, it was working. Last weekend we were having a few problems there - lag, warp, other glitches - and we switched to igateway. It was much better there...so there may still be some probs associated with Calif 12. All I can suggest for now is to keep trying; maybe hook up with someone via ICQ or something similar and try together. If neither have it show, you'll at least know you aren't alone.
