I remember when Pete's board went down due to the in-fighting in the community. It was a very dark time for SDOE. When a new board was created, I quickly got on to lament not doing something about the in-fighting. I don't want to see that happen again. I can see the need to address problems discussed at length already. This post is not about complaints. This post is to show support for the efforts of ALL of the people who design downloads of any kind for the general community to use. Please don't stop creating and contributing. I don't mind a few kinks in the game, because its better than it was and I love seeing it grow. I can wait til it all gets sorted out too. I'm still having a blast on-line and off. I appreciate the work you do, and I'm sure others do too. I hope they will drop a line of thanks and support to this post. Go ahead and work out the problems, but remember a lot of us know that we get your labor for free, and we are very grateful. Thanks PS- Yes, I know I'm a sickening, soft hearted, chump. A post that makes sense...refreshing. I second the kudos to all those working hard on add ons, they have kept this sim alive. And a note to all the complainers--spend more time with your kids and wives and play SDOE for fun.  IP: Logged |

I too agree. All the people who have made planes, skin, objects, terrain and so forth have my deepest admiration. Never Before has a game occupied so much of my time. I have received a lot of entertainment from all the builders have added. I'm sure there are many who post rarely or not at all who look forward to the new add-ons. I know I sure do. To the ones who enjoy making additions for the game, and who do so in their own free time, with no reward but the knowledge of a job well done and who do not ask for but should receive the thankyous of us who only play; I tip my hat and bow deeply. My most sincere thanks. I think I'll just leave it at thanks. ------------------

Well said goth. I remember that to. I know this too will pass. The good thing is that I doubt that the Naysayers well ever stop a person for making a plane. It is not done for praise, but the pleasure of creating it, that you have something new to enjoy and will share your fun with others. Not everybody will like your new creation, but if just one person enjoys it, this gives you validation for spending all the time and effort to create it.So to all those that create and to all that enjoy SDOE...I salute you and I will always continue to support you. ------------------
