Well, another thought just ccrossed my mind that I think needs to be issued. Why are people starting on new projects when old ones havent ben completed yet???????? About the only complete project Ive downloaded so far is the Fokker DVII and its not even totally done... yet. So I vote to finish whats not, then start on new things. Dont get me wrong, I love the stuff you guys are putting out, its just none of its really finished.IP: Logged |

Actually,Aside from FM changes to the DVII_G when the WWI group starts its FM standardization and the possible additon of yet to be created airfoils, the DVII_G is done. All future additions to the DVII series will come in a later variants. The next will be the DVII_F. Just FYI So in all practical senses, its time to start something new. Like I said, your plane is basicly done. A few things here and there, but basicly done. Its all the other peeps that have me worried. They are making new planes without finishing the ones they have. I for one have to finnish what Ive started and this causes me to hate things that dont get finnished. IP: Logged |

>Its all the other peeps that have me worried. All the other peeps? The Thunderbolt has a ways to go before TEAM JUG will consider it finished, but you can rest assured that it will get done and it will be thorough. We are only about 60% finished with it. There are numerous things we need to fix and refine and also many things we'd like to add to make the plane a more faithful depiction of the real thing. Also, don't forget, the contest planes are on freeze until after the judging is over. People may be working on them, but changes can't be made public until the contest is over. IP: Logged |

Argon, our guys are still tweaking FM's for planes that came with the sim a year ago. If these wonderfully creative people refused to go onto a new plane until the last one was perfect we would still be flying the 10 that came in the box, not the 30+ we have now. Besides, we have a lot more plane builders than FM experts so the two aspects are not going to run parallel. If you are so woried then learn how to tweak FM's. Otherwise be patient and enjoy what we have. IP: Logged |

Spanky here... Hi man, I think its just cause its hard work and people get bored with the plane they have been looking at over the last couple months. Also we learn new things everyday to apply. Not one single plane in this game is done. Not even the factory ones. And they probly never will be done. Some of the stock planes still have FM and DM issues. Plus most of them don't have gear thats damaged by high speed and create drag. They don't have opening canopys, nor guns that jam. Waiting till one plane is finished before starting a new one is impossible. I would like to see them all brough up to a certain standard but that is hard. IP: Logged |

Hi Argon!I'm working on a Ju 88C-6, Ju 88G-1 (betas available at Nat's site), and a Ju 188. The todo-list for the Ju-88s mainly concists of things I don't yet know how to implement (DOF-stuff, detaching gunpod). While I'm working on the Ju 188 I have discovered some things that can be used on the 88s as well. Finishing the 88s first wouldn't do the project any good. Peter IP: Logged |
