First, Thank you all for the nice reply.

I´m traing to change the cockpit in Spit.1a
so I have the same layout in all the spits.
I copy the spit.sm file from spit.V folder to
spit.1a. The cockpit is fine, but the gauges is not working and some of the nidles is outside the gauges.
Any fix to that?

Greatfylly

I converted it to work on the Ia. It was on JT's site but my link is busted.

Actually, I noticed that the artificial horizon is missing on the realistic Spitpit for the 1a and the IX. Also, the yoke isn't functioning properly in the IX. I'm not sure why this is happening.
I will look in to this today or tommorrow. Thanks for the heads up.

Planepack guys, has anything been changed in the SpitIX.sm and the Spit1a.sm in recent editions of the planepack?

yes, i changed the SpitIX so the prop.tif would look for it in the spitix/texture folder and stop pointing to the spitv. since the IX had a 4 blade prop and the V had 3. This was somehting small that was just missed and i fixed it. the SM in 5.3 is the latest one. I can send the SM if you want, or you can just get it out of the pack.

Thanks, I have it. That wouldn't hose the yoke and the artificial horizon, though.... anything else?

I have seen OPS screw with the instruments when Tail adjusted the FMs of the Mustang a while back.

Yep it had a nasty habit of making the plane hold 2x as much fuel or disconnecting the compasses etc just by loading the plane in and saving it back out.

I just checked and the artificial horizon is ok in both the Ia and IX on my system. However the yoke on the IX only moves in a north/south axis.
