Once upon a time there was a Yak-3 skin generated for the Spit - a winter version. I'm sorry but I can't recall who the creator was - but I really loved that skin.

Now that we have the new "real" Yak-3 can someone with skin smarts redo that old Spit skin to fit the new Yak model? I for one would really appreciate it. If you can't find it, I can provide the zip file of the old skin.

Heya,

Is this the skin you are referring to?

The only thing I wasnt able to get to look right was the blue, white and red spinner. So I went with just a plain white one.

I have to adjust the nose art a little and I will have it posted this afternoon.

In fact, the blue white and red prop spinner probably denotes use of this aircraft by the Normandie-Niemen unit, a group of Free French volunteers on the eastern front.
