I really hope this becomes an annual event. (I don't think we could take it more than once a year) Maybe have a skin contest in there sometime.

I suggest naming it after it's founder Private Roger.

What do you guys think?

Having said that, I have always thought that this would only be the first of many contests we could have.

This sim, affords many opportunities to showcase great projects of all kinds, i.e. new aircraft, new ground objects, new skins, new missions, new terrain, new ships, etc.

The creativity of the user community in SDOE has always amazed me. I think you amaze Michael Harrison too. I truely believe that given the time, you guys could figure out how to solve almost all SDOE's initial failings. Maybe even one day giving us a Sun! Well, o.k., it's a dream I have.

Anyway, this game of ours can still grow, but I think we are at a point where we need some help from MH to get the online issues ironed out. The frustration associated with online play only tends to turn away the very guys the Contest attracted. But, if the online problems are fixed, and if that happens soon, I see a really nice year ahead for SDOE, and all of us.

However things shake out, I'll be here, and I think I have a couple of bucks to spare for another contest too.

I really think a Terrain contest would rock if we had the tools to make them.

I think if you check the WWI area you will see that Attila just made a new terrain.

Anything is possible, or so it seems with these Open Plane Voodo practitioners.
