Go to http://www.fightersquadron.com/opstudio/ to get Bryan Russel's Openplane Studio

Get the par file tools from http://www.openplane.org

Use BigMunger from the openplane tools to extract files from the par files. YOu can then open the aircraft .sm files with openplane studio and begin editing aircraft properties from there.

Its great to have another FM enthusiast around.

You will also need a 3D model program. Many people use AC3D

Do as Falck suggested. I also suggest using OpenPlane Studio to look at an existing plane.

Read the OpenPlane.Doc, I did not understand it the first 10 times I looked at it. LOL, but now I use it for reference all the time.

Ask a lot of questions here at the forum.

For some great tutorials visit Sv's site. He wanted to learn how to build a plane and he documented step by step instructions. You will find this to be a great help.
