Here is the list of planes and latest editions that I have for them.

F4U Pack - PatchF4U.ZIP
109/190 - 109s&190s1.zip
Zero - a6m5b13.zip
Camel - Camel.zip
Fokker D.VIII - FokkerD8_v4.zip
Alb D.Va - AlbatrosDva_v6.zip
Bristol F2B - BristolF2B_v10.zip
P-47D - thunderbolt.zip
F4F - f4f4beta1.zip
Fokker D.VII - fokkerdvii.zip
Hurricane - HurriBeta1.zip (There is also a re-arranged version, but I can do that myself )
P-80 - ShootingStar.zip
Yak 3 - Yak3V1b.zip

Is that all the planes for the contest, and are the above file names the latest files?

WW, I don't think you're gonna need all that, infact, if I understood MH right, you will be better off without all that, it seems that MH is going to make a par file containing all the contest a/c, fully patched up for us to use for voting, ok, keep them for now, but once he releases the par file, you'll have to delete them to stop the overwriting what the par file has.

Oh, some one volunteered to create the pack for him. I'm not going to name names or anything. If this person manages to get all the files tonight, then this person should have a contest pack assembled and uploaded for everybody tomorrow.

Falck:

I get a 'page not found' from the above link.

Just to keep things weird... I went to the ftp site itself, and there it was:

ftp://manhigh.cwru.edu/f4f4beta2(contest).zip

WW--

You should leave the PatchF4U.zip file OUT of the parfile. The F4UPack is the current version. The patch was for guys who had earlier versions.

Whirl, et al.

I've just modified the contest folderon lynx so that the uploaded planes may be downloaded.

This is mainly to aid the previously mentioned shadow figure who is putting together the contest pack.

jedi:

Got it, no prob.

I have planes that were supposed to be entered in the contest, but aren't in the designated contest area (ftp://lynx.inertiagames.com/contest). As to whether these planes are actually being entered is unclear at this point. The person creating the pack would rather surf for scantly clad to not clad picts of women than look for contest craft, so they might not make it into the pack .

If this is the list of contest planes, you should remove the Camel. I just don't think it's finished enough and I wouldn't want people voting for it on sentimental grounds (in the event that were to actually happen)and taking votes from people who managed complete airplanes within the contest time limit.

Should be real soon.

The "Final Contest" version of the Fokker DVII has been uploaded to the contest FTP.

The file name is:FokkerDVIIvC.zip and is 2144 kb in size.

Please note that the version called FokkerDVIIv1 is not, I repeat, is not the right version.

This is our final release. Is that your your final release? Umm, well....Maybe I should ask the audience....um. Yes thats our Final Release

Thanks

LOL Zoy.

Whirlwind, We need to be sure the new Startup.ppf has the following items in it.

"aircraft/airfoils/SEVERSKY.sm"
"aircraft/airfoils/SEVERSKY.ppf"
"aircraft/airfoils/CLARKYH.ppf"
"aircraft/weapons/WWI50.sm"

This is of course for the Jug, Hurricane and Dirks secret weapon. I don't think anybody else needed to modify the Startup.ppf

Well we have yet had another zipping mishap

We had placed the WWI50.SM in the DVII directory when it should have been placed in a "weapons" folder.

We have since updated the zip to correct this problem.

So instead of using the Contest FTP could the Pack maker please use this zip?
www.fightersquadron.com/warpaint/FokkerDVIIvC.zip

Thanks

The plane pack *should* be uploaded for reveiw tonight. The person creating the pack just need to snag the latest D.VII. The 'WWI50.sm' addition is a new one to me, The person will update the sm file the person has in the 'clean' online dir since it has the rest of the changes already there.
