well i finally stop looking at the Thrustmaster Elite Rudder pedals at Babbages and bought them.
Well i can't seem to get them to work. I got them and with my current setup up i don't think it will work, but to just make sure i'm asking you guys.

My current setup is a Thrusmater TOP GUN USB. Did have a CH PRO throttle butit died.

Since the rudder pedals have a normal 15 pin connection. the computer wont know they are hooked up since they don'r run though a stick.

Is this right? Is there a way to make them work?

Please help...

I think if you plug the joystick into the rudder pedals, and then plug the rudder pedals into the joystick port, you should be in business

At least that's how my old RCS works. I don't think Winbloze will recognize two devices plugged into separate ports, but it can identify all the axes plugged into a single port. You then set up for a 3-axis, 2-button joystick with rudder box checked. (You may also be able to use the TM FCS selection and check the rudder box).

jedi you must have mission this part inthe above text.

"My current setup is a Thrusmater TOP GUN USB"

I can't plug the rudders into my stick since it's USB.

That's the problem.

heya Razer,
you should just be able to plug the rudders into yr joystick port. yr cpu should read the rudders when u turn it back on.

Razer, make sure go into Game controllers in the control panel, click on the usb joystick and click on properties, and check the "Use rudder pedals box", you might have to calibrate the pedals.

In your keyboard.inp, make sure there is line like this,

inpRudderAnalog = JoystickAxisRZ

In SDOE in options, input uncheck the couple aileron to rudder.

Hope this helps,

Elric

Logitech FF Wingman USB has that problem, and they are set up to work; they just don't work very well. Also, I believe Thrustmaster says it won't work unless you have the Throttle hooked up ( Thrustmaster USB throttle?? .. or analog?? ).

With just the USB Top Gun and analog rudders, I believe you are correct...won't work. Is the Throttle outrageously priced?
Might be a way to go...

Sorry can't be of more help.
