Laika, love the landing gear crank!

Unfortunately it also cranks when you adjust the throttle.

What does the clanking noise during engine run represent?

Moving rudder pedals are also a nice feature.

Jerry - does the crank crank or did you hear the crank sound ? If the crank cranks than this is normal cause the crank cranks allways a bit odd (maybe there is no fix for this, cause soviet cranks are allways odd, but I will do everything to make the crank correct). The clanking noise represents that Iīm not a professional sound engineer

Dont give me too much "thank youīs" ! Unfortunately the damage model didnīt work as it should. Thats just new terrain for me and I still had to figure some things out. The next update will get a better DM for sure.

I hope you have fun with the rest of the plane !

As you can see, damage things are hard for man and machine !

The point is that the describtion (tech talk)of the DM is not right, i.e. the fuel leak did not work (but hey ! thats no longer a problem cause I fixed and tested the fix allready) and when the engine reached the 2nd damage level, it dont starts a fire after some seconds. Something other is wrong, fly the ground attack mission and donīt kill the flak, shot down the 109īs and if youīre still alive make some loops and turns near the flag - I allways lose control of the plane when the flak hits me and I canīt jump out, so the pilot should be dead and red. Maybe this is an ultra realistic damage model of an shockwave traumata ?

LoL about the shock wave thingy. Maybe the flack explosions are set to cause too high a damage and too big of a radius. But I cant think about whats wrong with the pilot. But then agian I know nothing of the workings of this game. Hehehe. I really don't.

Laika, did I understand you correctly? That the landing gear crank is supposed to turn when the throttle is adjusted up or down? Not just when the landing gear is raised or lowered? And no, there is no crank noise when the throttle is adjusted.

Jerry - The crank should not move unless you press "G". All I know is when the Autopilot/Ai take control, it seems he has not enough to do, so he plays around with the crank. I will take a look and tell you more !

Jerry ? Thankyou ! I forgot to delete some old stuff from the P51Throttle (wich now is my crank) and I would say without you (and your obstinancy )I never would fixed this, cause I thought it is a bug in OP or SDOE. Thanks man ! (The updated version will be out this week).

Hi Laika
just a word about the DM and the pilot Shock wave i tought that it was normal cause of the open canopy but maybe it is a little bit unreal even with an open canopy it should be possible to pass through a flak wall.
