Kameraden,We have so many new planes to fly now I would like your thoughts on a theme for next Sunday's online session. Pacific? Russian? WWI? Let's decide soonish so everyone can get the neccessary downloads, iron out any install bugs and build some missions (I will have the final word on what we do in case of major arguments  ). We will be using the online standard of Planepack 5.3a and hostilities will start at 8:30 BST (British Summer Time [GMT +0100]) on the uk1 server. ------------------

My vote would be for a Pacific theme night, Sand Sea and Sex , DOH SDOE cant simulate that last one yet, ok Sand Sea and A/C carriers then.IP: Logged |

I vote for pacific with carriers, may be including the alpha pacific terrain and
for russian front in the Rhineland winter terrain.Regards

I'll be around but I would vote for
the following stuff:
- tundra (smaller than winter-dover)
- pacific
- planes?? (I think we need a list what planes to use)BIG QUESTION: What about a night mission??? cheers

Okay - just bumping this to the top again.We'll go for the Pacific - but just the ordinary terrains for now. Make sure you get the Zero and Corsairs and any missions involving carriers is cool - not too hard on the take-off or we'll spend all night swimming home ------------------

Just an Idea, if we are going to be doing the Zero's and F4-U1 we need a common download setup somewhere for all to get so we don't have aircraft missmatch's like we have been having with those aircraft. anyone 2nd that?  IP: Logged |

To avoid mis-matches you need to modify the Zero thus:-The acm5 (Zero/Zeke)needs a few modifications after you install, ie; go to the loadout ppf/open/open with wordpad/
uncheck "always use this program to open this file"/descCountry 'strGermany needs to be changed to descCountry 'strJapan... ...and... And while you're changing the descCountry (this allows the pilot to know he's Japanese and not German- so if you have Nations- he'll speak the language)- you might as well change the descPicture and descStats underneath it to Japan also-- when you do this (AND go into your Media\GUI\Art\Hangar\Germany- take the a6m5 outta there...make a Japan folder in Media\GUI\Art\Hangar and put the a6m5 in there)...then it'll show up in the Hanger in the game and in Training. ------------------

Two other points of mismatch, Get the Zero W/
the standard conopy don't use the non-glare.
Also if and when you get the F4u's don't use
the folding wing option.
We have been flying both A/C online with no
MM's

This is gonna be a bigger problem that I envisaged if everyone turns up with slightly different a/c!What's the problem with the folding wings? ------------------
