Seems like people are having some problems finding some contest planes. Maybe because they were released a long time ago.

Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero can be found at: http://models3d.webjump.com

Planepack 5.3 already has the following contest planes:
BF109E-4
BF109F-4
BF109G
BF109K-4
FW190A-8
FW190D-9

Glad I had my seatbelt on...

It would be a real shame if the 5.3 planes were somehow overlooked by guys. For my money the Bf-109 and Zero were the planes that rekindled my interest in the sim, and were the "proof" that players could build planes.

If there's a "Hall of Fame" for SDOE, the charter members are Hippie's Builder/Extractor, OPS, the Zero, and the 109.

I will tell you one thing, It is driving me nuts trying to pick a favorite bird out of all these outstanding works of art. I feel like a child at Christmas who recieved so many cool toys, that he can't make the choice
of which to play with first. The Corsair variants are awsum! The Jug is a truly realistic flying work of art. (nothing short of flying a Locomotive!) Then theres the
Zeke! I can't say enough about how sweet it feels airborne. The Bristol, is stunning! What a beautiful cockpit. I can go on for a couple pages at least. I salute each and every one of you knuckleheads! You have regenerated a feeling of excitement in many
online flyers that hasn't been felt for quite a while! I am sure it can only get better from here. Thank You for all the hard work and time you have given for all.

Clear Skies,
Crankshaft

Will MH or someone post a list of "officially entered" contest planes? A printable one would be nice so we can check them off and make notes as we fly them. No way we can remember everything we notice, likes and dislikes.

Yes. That list will be made available as soon as all the entries are in.

If you've made a plane for the contest and you haven't sent it in yet, see the contest section for details on how to do so.

jedi,

Thanks. I take it you will be voting for the Zero instead of the Corsair.

Good point Jedi, who could imagine the game without the 109 or zero? They are essentials...
