Very nice....good theme music too. This voting thing ain't gonna be easy...but I guess it'll be easier than actually building all these sweet planes!!!IP: Logged |

Thanks guys, Spanky, we did update the top wings and lowered it 10 inches on the submitted version. LOL This ended up being a lot harder than you would think. Raider 33rd~GS

What altitude? At 2000 ft I get 124 mphs. Note that the top speeds for planes are generally given at sea level and without a full combat load. Also at 10,000 the DVII_G was only capable of 112-114. So altitude makes a big difference. ------------------ Zoycite 33rd~GS visit The War Paint Factory [This message has been edited by Zoycite (edited 03-21-2000).] IP: Logged |

Archangel01, Try turning your hud on to be sure you are flying level, it takes a while to get to top speed and speed does degrade with altitude.I tested this over the ocean's at 15-30 feet above. Man you got to be steady to get a good read. It takes awhile to get to 124 MPH but that was top speed at level flight at sea level. After the contest, Zoycite and I will release an F model of the DVII that will still have a top speed of 124 MPH but will accelerate a little faster. Thank you for the feedback and Please post back if you still feel this is not right. Raider 33rd~GS IP: Logged |

Archangel01, thats not good enough. I wish I could say it was like the cool P-47. They designed it to have variable performance. Great idea guys. But we did not do this on the DVII.I will send you the mission I used to do sea level speed tests. If it is not working for you I want to know about it. Thanks for your interest. I want this to be right for you too. It does take at least 60 seconds of level flight to get it to 124 mph, but it will hold it once it gets there. ------------------ Raider 33rd~GS IP: Logged |
