This was an excellent program. It covered WWI to the modern era. Where did they get that gorgeous WWI footage?

If you didn't see this program, find when it will be on again, and tape it - it's a keeper, for sure - NOT to be missed!

It was the first time I saw it, my jaws dropped with some of the WWI footage. If all else fails, you probably can buy it from their online store.

I liked how they tied everything in with interviews of former combat pilots and instructors. What a show.

Hey Whirlwind,

You got that right. It was really a very "complete" show on the dogfight. They even had a segment in which they showed several ACMs - and in several ways - overlayed! They had a pilot explaining the move, along with him illustrating the move with "planes-on-a-stick", plus along with that, they had a picture-in-picture view of what the maneuver looks like from within the cockpit. What great detail!

The collection of ace's and their stories were just fantastic. Also, the "rel likfe" story and illustration of techniques used in an energy fight were awesome.

The show had great balance. And, at the end of the hour, for some reason, I was thinking that the show seemed longer than one hour. Just great stuff.
