I downloaded the Nations V1.0 to the proper directory and I didn't get any more than the names Japan, Italy and Russia in training only. No aircraft, no missions, no maps or anything else. Only the words Japan, Italy, Russia, and in training only. I don't know if I did something wrong or what, if anyone has ANY information for me I would appreciate it. Thank you Psi...IP: Logged |

Go to Pilot and create a Japanese, Russian and Italian pilot. Select one, go to Scramble and select a Nations scramble mission.IP: Logged |

We didn't include any Nations planes out of respect for those who created them. If people can download the Zero from our Nations site- that takes traffic away from mposis...and the same goes for Laika and his I16...it is very easy to add these in so they work in your Nations though. If you want Laika's I16 in the Soviet Union section of the Hanger in the game, or mposis' Zero for Japan, simply go into that planes loadout.ppf and change the name in the descCountry, descPicture, and descStats to the one you would like to use. For instance, for mposis' Zero- under those headings is Germany- so if you want them to show up in Japan, change the word Germany to Japan- and then there is one more step-Go into Media\GUI\Art\Hangar and make a new folder- Japan. Then take the Zero (or a6m5) out of the Germany folder in that same section and place it in your newly-made Japan folder. One more thing- open up the Zero Hanger mission in Media\Hangar (under a6m5.mis) and change the squadron in properties to a Japanese squadron-- scroll down- you'll see them as long as Nations is installed. That way, your Japanese pilot will speak Japanese and not German. Phew! Did I miss anything? This is going to be a long 2 weeks without Werner- but just keep e-mailing me if you have questions- or you'll have to wait for 2 weeks for him to return!) IP: Logged |
