Spyder Pilot	posted 03-14- 08:04 PM A short while ago when helping new guys sort out their 5.3 mismatches, as well as removing parfiles 14 & 15 from the 5.2 planepack I also suggested removing parfile 4 which on some machines was causing conflicts as well. I don't have mine now but I was curious to know where this came from? It isn't part of the cd installation as only 1 2 & 3 are on there although some suggested it was the default install. I'm thinking it might have been a 5.1 or less version parfile? Could this be some of the reason behind dt's online with some guys using parfile 4 and some not? Is it yesterday in yankee land? Michael Harrison General	posted 03-14- 10:35 PM I would have to double-check once I get back to work, but if I remember correctly, data4 is the UI radio sounds. If it can't be found, we just didn't play the radio tracks. IP: Logged

dauntless851 Pilot	posted 03-14- 11:26 PM Data4.par has the 3 German radio speeches. I believe these weren't included in versions outside of the USA. I'm not sure which countries got the other version without these speeches. IP: Logged

Was this one of those politcally correct thingies they do with some countries, like removing swastika decals from model kits? bastards! I always found it a bit awkward (correct spelling?) that there were English, American, but no German radio sounds. How large is that data4 par file? This would explain why we're split on having it or not, that damn stupid idea someone had about haveing one version for the USA and one for the rest of us low lives out across the pond. There are no bourders, no laws against that I'd like to have it, his speeches are worth hearing if for no other reason than 1. It's historical fact, 2. He gave the best speeches the world has seen (wether right or wrong in what he said) Spyder.. seems just us brits got ripped off then.. lol, we got 1 CD, with no German speeches, and no movies of the B17.. lol IP: Logged
