Spanky here.. K guys I finally did it. I complained about realism in the flights online and now i'm doing somthing about it. I set up a survey so we can see how most people feel about a historical night and what that would include. Do the survey and add to the descussion about it. I think its a great idea and could be alot of fun. BTW have any of you guys ever played any roleplaying games? That would be what i would want to do. Play the part of a Pilot during ww2 Using SDOE as the base for that game. That would include not chaging off as the lone gun and not caring about dieing. Esox here... Spanky, thanks for running with this thing! I think it's a great idea. I'm as guilty as the next guy for running off and dogfighting without really thinking about it- just in a hurry to relax and mix it up I guess.  I think a situation where you have limited pilots, and so are not inclined to just dive in and take on the closest enemy regardless of advantage will add a lot of fun and adrenaline rush to the online arena. I will pump the =FC= to respond to the survey and get involved. ------------------

Spanky here.. Cool thanks for the kind words guys. This is going to rock. Can someone maybe start working on some missions? Any other ideas? I guess we can set the first one up for this saturday. Hopefully i'm done this freaking stupid cold/flu By then. Glad most of you guys like the idea of limiting pilots and planes and having a team captain, cause i think those points will add realism to the fight.
Please step up with any of your own ideas and maybe ask some questions and i can add them to a second poll.

Spanky here.... Well showing some clear results now Thats cool. So far I'm seeing a clear support of the idea and the idea of team captains. Need more votes to get a clear idea of hud or no hud and the best night to do it. I'll probly do another one when this has some more votes with some stuff choosen and ask some more defining questions. Such as what time you like to start and how long could you play for. Just to let ya know, I love the idea...took the poll when ya first posted it. There may be some results that would keep me out...most of ya know what they are...but the idea of flying historically accurate missions with specific goals is kick-butt!! And wouldn't it be great for squad practice, maybe leading to more squad vs squad action? Thanks, Spanky, for following through on your idea!
