Also the other night I was watching my Albatros from the control tower. I went behind the line of trees along the fence and must have got too low... the view panned to follow my plane hidden behind the trees... then out of the other side came a buch of pieces tumbling... struts, wheels, and a wing piece or two.

Woh! That looks really real! Why can't the WW2 jobbies hang together like that? It seems to me that the 3rd-party planes are better than the sim's originals...kewl!

Yep that is the shit. Thats much cooler then the whole plane explodeing.

I also think the homemade jobbies are better then the stock planes.

No offence to the origanal builders though. but when you build something out of love and not just for a deadline its going to turn out better.

I don't think "better" is the right world, at least for my planes. I get to cheat. I use a bit more polygons and way more textures, so my planes will not run on low end computers as well. I do think the DM can be improved on the stock planes though, I'm quite sure quality in that area is more a function of how much "fiddle" time you have. As TS pointed out, obProb can do wonders...

Cool, crashes in this sim are the best! I wish the WWII planes would catch fire and burn like your WWI jobs. I never see a WWII plane burn and go down in flames like your planes do SV. Great planes are made from love and hard work.
