Was just reading that FSAA (Full Screen Anti-Aliasing) is available on GeForce cards while in OpenGL apps via a simple driver update. For those who may not know what FSAA does it removes the jaggie edges from lines and curves in 3D scenes...what this means is a very much more organic looking picture that adds a huge amount to the immersion factor (in my opinion anyways). This was one of the big selling points for the next generation of Vodoo cards -vs- GeForce. 3dFx had been claiming that GeForce cards would not be able to do it...guess they were wrong.
Apparently it's only a matter of further work on the beta drivers to get FSAA up for D3D apps as well, and will probably occur in the not too distant future.
The screen shots I saw regarding this were beautiful, the difference between the FSAA shots and non-FSAA shots was very evident.
So MH, what about them OpenGL drivers for FS??
