... Long story short, When I bought my new PC it included a Dell-design GeForce card. I experianced weird lock-ups in a few games (including FS) ... I "thought" it was the GeForce, so I pulled it out and bought a "name-brand" GeForce card only to find out I had the same lock-ups. I eventually figured out it was NOT my vid-card but my soundcard that was the culprit (Montego II) ..

SO ... Here I sit with a perfectly good GeForce card ...

I'm looking to get rid of it. I'm not an ass who'd try to get retail for this thing but obviously I'd like to get "something" for it!

I'll start the bidding @ $100.00 US dollars (since this is a global forum I had to say that) ...

Highest serious bid to my email by tomorrow 5:00PM CST gets it!

Are you selling the Dell design or the name-brand card? If name brand, which? What do they cost new? Would it help a low end PII 266? Thanks

I'm selling the Dell design (basicly it's a reference board) ...

Would it help ... IMO .."Yes". However, I qualify that by saying any game that takes benefit from DirectX7 would surely run better.

I've got a PIII 500 and with the Geforce I pull anywhere from 50 to 80 fps depending on the amount of action going on the screen ... I've not dropped below 30 fps and THAT was with 32 AI controled planes ..(I love to just sit and watch them duke it out)

...Going once ...going twice ...SOLD!

The "sole" bidder offered me $175 bucks for this muther ... However, due to the lack of "enthusiastic" responce ... I'm gonna offer it to him for $150

... ya snooze ya lose!
