One for the Kiwi's because they finally got around to winning a cricket match (5-1 though guys !!)  Before I post it on my site I need some info. It was based on the 'high definition' skin done for the Corsair. I did enough changes and touch ups to make it a different skin in its own right, but I still want to give the original artist due praise on the download page and in the readme file. Can someone tell me who did it ? Cheers, AGAS 5

That do be one of mine there AGAS.. lol, I'm more glad that you liked it than you giving recognition for it, but thanks, it's appreciated  I got the skin bug there for a few days an knocked a couple out, couldn't resist it though, that Corsair is a Babe to fly... I do think it needs more testing though to compair it to the orgininal flight characteristics, I just seem to be rippin the Zeros apart, took out 5 Zeros, 2 flack panzers, 3 37AA flack and an airbase (80% damage)with the one aircraft ------------------

Thanks Nat.I'll make sure your call sign is noted. The Kiwi Corsair actualy had a lighter shade of blue but I kept this one darker as there seems to be a texturing problem on the panel just under the cockpit on the pilots left side. It comes up very shaded and is only noticable with lighter textures. Jedi - have you noticed this ? The skin will be up on my site in about 30 min, just follow the link below. I agree Nat- I had a mission set up with myself and 5 Zeros- and it was completely unfair to those poor Zero pilots. This is not a plug on my flying skills (as any of you who have flown online with me know  )- but on the excellent machine that is the Corsair. The gun package is just devastating to the paper thin Zeros- one short burst and I am vaporizing them. I haven't tried it against any German planes and am a bit curious as to how it fairs.IP: Logged |

The "dark patches" under the cockpit are either reversed normals or an artifact from the "smoothing" of the fuselage. I have been leery of trying to fix it so far, due to some CTD probs I had fixing a similar patch on the wings.I'll get around to looking at it at some point, but it didn't seem all that noticeable to worry about just yet... As for the Hog's firepower, it's just "stock" SDOE guns, rocks, and bombs. The only thing I did was add the historic number of rounds and set up the gunsight. The real Hog was a pretty good gun platform. Now, it may be turning a bit too well still, which I'll fix if I can, but if you use vertical tactics, you'll be able to bring guns to bear on most anything I would think. It does a pretty good number on the AI Mustangs. Haven't fought any 190s yet... ------------------
