Well, it seems that this Cue 8th guy has taken my paintaholics email address and sent it to spammers everywhere. I know its this prick because he e-mailed me with some little immature b.s. about how I hurt his feelings in tech talk. Getting 20 spam emails at one time is not what I had in mind. Nobody else uses my paintaholics address....so I know its this cocksucker.99.9% of you guys in here kick ass. I do not have the time to play e-mail war with some cadet asshole. If I can't figure out how to get off of all these spam lists, then I'm probably just gonna have to shut down my site and leave. Games are fun and all, but when they affect your personal life its time to stop. IP: Logged |

You mean condone, STef? I thought the discussion was a bit ugly- but I didn't comment as I am one of those who also have no idea how to create planes myself. All I can do is gentle nudges and hope for the best- but I am happy with the output from everyone...who can contest that with the Corsair we are now able to fly. BBC was far from a gentle nudge... and I think with the whole Scharmers fiasco last week- people are just a bit on the defensive side. I would be to if I had to constantly defend myself and my work- so DanW' choice of response was a bit volatile- but it was definitely provoked through a few people coming to this forum. People are welcome to leave if they are not satisfied with how SDOE plays out- so DanW's request to "leave us alone" was implying that if you're not happy- you don't have to play.
It isn't the first time, and it won't be the last- everyone is blessed with an opinion- but many opinions do not mesh well. We have come through it all before, and we will continue to come through it. From what I've seen since I've been here constructive criticism passes between everybody all the time and is greeted as such. I do however think that this Cue guys methods leave alot to be desired. As someone who doesnt contribute[ I wish I could ] and loves the work that all these guys have created, I dont blame DanW for getting annoyed. Naw......I'll be here.That guy was a troll plain and simple. Read the post title 'Why EAW is better than SDOE' Personally, I do think EAW is better than SDOE. But I don't try to start fights with people. That is an obvious troll headline. I have my reasons for working with SDOE. All I told the guy was that the troll stuff doesnt work here and to go away. When the guy tries to tell me I don't understand about WW2 and crap that like, thats when I take offense. I don't need a lecture from a troll. Dan, I have been to your site several times and I for one do apprecaite your work. I find that you have one of the best sites on the SDOE. I am a FNG and have NO IDEAL how to make planes, I have spent many hours just trying to learn how to modify exsiting planes, so I for one learned real quick to apprecaite sites like yours. Please don't let the spammer jerk run you off. ------------------

If someone on this board intentional causes spam to be sent to someone elses e-mail address, they should be removed forever from this board, any squadron they belong to, immediately put on ignore anytime they are in the lobby, and kicked immediately from any game if they somehow make it in. Forever.Period. End of Story. Immediately, and without question. Throwing punches back and forth in here is one thing, but personal attacks in personal places are not only an invasion of privacy, but are quite possibly illegal. If someone around here has done something like that, they ought to notify that person, apologize immediately, ask for forgiveness, and assist them in removing them from whatever they have signed them up for. It will be up to that person to decide if they want to forgive them. If they decide not to mention it, then I guess things will slide. If I ever hear of anyone doing any kind of crap like that to anyone in this group of ours, and we know for sure it was done and by whom, then I will consider them banished. Forever. Attacks of this nature go light years beyond anything Scharmers ever did. This is schoolyard bullshit, and should not be tolerated. Mk10=225th= P.S.: Dan, here's a virtual Xanax. I am sorry this has happened to you. We need you like grass needs water. I do not want to live in a Dan-less world! Nat, quit spamming the forum!  Dan, don't leave! You might be able to set up filters on your e-mail not to accept from certain domain names or with certain words or phrases in the subject.
I have a couple set up so anything with the words "Accept Credit Cards", "E-Commerce", "Low Cost" or "Increase Sales" never hits my hard drive. I don't know what's up with BBCue/Ozzman but he(?) seems to be here only to annoy and aggrivate. -=TheReaper=- IP: Logged |

Jeez, I missed some stuff by the sound of it. Dan's never been shy of a flame-em-up on this forum but we're all adults and capable of dealing with that kind of stuff. Even flaming by e-mail is ok by me, not that I would initiate that myself. But to inflict spam on someone's site or e-mail account is totally beyond the pale unless a person is retaliating to a similar attack upon himself. Totally scum-bag behaviour.
For your information Dan, it's quite easy to get yourself a program which will allow you to hack into another person's PC while they're online and nuke their system. Rough justice but it sounds like the little scutz-ball deserves it. Hang in there mate. IP: Logged |

He may have been "rude" to this guy but the guy is entitled to be rude in return, not initiate spam onto Dan's home sites. I'm not going anywhere guys. It's just that I'm busting my ass on this stuff and wasn't in the mood to play any games...I guess next time I won't mess with the trolls. It's obvious that guy was a troll. He hasn't came back and he won't respond to my mail. We've got a big week coming up. The contest is almost over, and we are trying our best to get the Jug' out the door. I think you guys are gonna love it. Flaming in posts is one thing. We all do it. Sometimes I may appear a bit rash, it just depends on the circumstances. But you will never ever see me email anyone or play dirty games like that. In here we are Spyder, Siggi, DanW...but away from this board we are all people with private lives. Just like with Siggi, yeah I may throw a few punches in here, but thats about it. I wouldn't ever consider emailing him about stuff that goes on in here. Shit, he may actually even be a nice guy outside of here At any rate, its gonna be a good week coming up pretty soon.
