OK- so I sat here and changed all 126 wavs for Italy and the Soviet Union to make them louder. Now I have to figure out how to repack it and send them back to Werner (BIG e-mail ) So maybe in the next day or two, one out of two bugs will be fixed!

Well I tried e-mailing the wav files today- and just as it was about to finish...my Outlook Express timed out on me. So I had to restart- and leave it with my wife to babysit while I went to work. So I hope you got it OK this AM- I haven't talked to her yet. Let me know...

I also haven't been able to test it because I am not very good with BigMunger. I packaged it up like you said but when I let it go- it completely overwrote my par6 and only included the Italian and Soviet wav files. How can you add something to a par in BigMunger without overwriting what is already in there...any help would be appreciated. It will make further Nations releases much easier if I know how to do this. I basically boosted all the sounds by 25%- so they're not TOO loud...so give it a go Werner and let me know if you want them boosted more. It does tend to get more distorted as you go louder- but with the engines roaring anyways in combat- it may not be noticeable. Hope someone can help me with BigMunger...

Well- it seems that the damn wavs files are too big to send through the e-mail. So I guess I have to split it up into a couple parts before sending it to Werner It'll be ready by Sunday anyways

Laika 801, you can get the beta over here:
B.C.A.T.P.
And Jeeves, easiest way of sending it is first pack it into some par file (only the wavs, not the rest of 'Nations') and then zip that par file in. To get the files you first have to unzip and then unpar, but that's less of a problem compared to sending 5 or more files.
You also can't add anything with BigMunger, it doesn't work like Winzip.

So my email download tonight should be somewhere in the neighbourhood of oh, 1.20x10^8 megabytes? I'll take what you've given me and par them, then test myself tonight. I'm going to cave in and load up 5.3a, and give the nations pack a test drive.
