Flying SDOE on a laptop?

Can this be done? I see laptops with video like "ATI 8 meg 3d" and stuff. Can these cards run SDOE?

Thanks!

Spanky here..

We have a 8 meg ati rage pro card that we lent to a friend. It will work but its not very good.

I would avoid ATI at any cost. I guess if its not your main machine and your getting a laptop anyway then i don't see why not but don't expect very good FPS unless its a p3 600

This would be so I could do openplane and SDOE stuff on long flights and those long boring hours at airports... I bet this would be a fun way to quickly pass the time... if it works at all...

LOL, try MS FS 2000. I have seen it run on a laptop. That way you could check out the airport you are in and even fly the route you are about to take. That would be cool.
