Ok were gonna have a big kill the zero fest this weekend we all need to have the proper and compatible version of the zero.we had alot of mismatches the other nite is it possible to post it again????

Ug between the zero and the corsair I spent about 4 hours waiting to fly and 1/2 hour flying tonight.. way too many mismatches. Not fun.

If you do switch them over, is there a way to switch the loadout references from Germany to Japan? (Or will this cause more mismatches?) With the Nations beta out at Werner's site- we can now have Japanese pilots in the Zero- OK- I know it's a beta, but the Japan part of that beta is perfect- and you have to see those medals to believe them. If there will be mismatches though. maybe we shouldn't- although the only thing I think that will be affected by those changes are voice wavs- since you are really leaving the .sm file alone... or am I totally wrong here?

For the sake of "Mis-Match Free Enjoyment"

I'd suggest a standard for Online Play for now.

PP5.3a
The latest Corsair
The latest Zero
And no nations beta (for online arena play sake)

And missions that have a ratio like this
5 zero's at 10k
vs 3 Corsairs at 5k
5 miles out

Nations is a par6 file that provides three new "Nations" to SDOE- Japan, Italy, and the Soviet Union (with more to follow). Basically- right now- it allows you to fly the Zero for a Japanese squadron with Japanese pilots speaking Japanese It killed me to hear the pilot in your Zero speaking German- so we made this project (we being Werner in the lead and me and Poodle).
Rattler- you are probably right- no betas online (yet!)- although the only known problems with the beta are that the Italian and Soviet pilot voices are a little too quiet (can't hear them over the engines) and some of the medals with long names have them cut off- like Hero of the Soviet Un...

But Japan is perfect and actually sounds more realistic than the three default ones IMHO- it scared me to death the first time I flew it- 2 AM and all the sudden a Japanese voice yelling in the dark- I thought someone had walked into my house LOL.

Jeeves - LOL! Siggi's voice is (suitably) commanding! He did a phenomenal job you guys, it sounds AMAZING. No prob about not having the nations beta online yet, it shouldn't cause mismatches but really it has been released only for those who needed to do some testing for compatability issues between their projects and ours. I would be very happy if most people ignored it until we got the volume and medal bugs fixed.
