For no apparant reason (I didn't change settings, add users, or otherwise modify ICQ, the SDOE active list stopped accepting me the other night. here's the error message I got: "You are not authorized to join the ICQ ActiveList chat". I now can't see who is online, which really stinks. Any ideas?

I'm going to say right now that ICQ is pretty buggy. I love it but it loves to crap out.

Now that my ass is covered

where you in invisible mode? it doesn't like that.

Other then that i'm stumped
Maybe try rebooting the computer and trying then. Razer had problems earlier today and he just restarted ICQ i think.

That is the problem I had...and Spanky came up with the solution, which is what he posted. It worked for me....just don't be in invisible mode when connecting.

Sorry man, I'm not in invisible mode (never have been) and I've rebooted both software and machine several times - no go.

Any more ideas?
