Well guys, although I've tried to be optimistic about the T34, it has recently become clear to me that I won't have enough time to do anything with it (except grumble) until the summer, so if there is anyone out there who wants the files, you're welcome to them. I'm not going to post them online because you really need to read the forwarded emails from Pete about the files and their problems. Archy - I haven't heard from you in ages. If you're still around and doing stuff with the Panzer, please drop me a line. I've been waiting to discuss your latest beta with you. I only wanted to say Thanks Werner, for the work you've put into it, I wish for you that you could've been able to produce it, cause I sure understand what it means to put alot of work in, then see your project finished by someone else. But I fully appreciate every single piece of work done by anybody here, and thankyou, and any others that just can't get what they sstarted finished, for all the time and effort they put in for ppl like me, and all the rest, just to make the game more fun.Thanks Werner IP: Logged |

Laika - I don't know. Probably, but the files are (for some reason) crashing SDOE when loaded in the game. (This is why I'll forward Pete's emails to anyone who wants the files, as he makes mention of this and a few other things). My problem is that I'm new to OP, but I can't even test my work with files that crash the game for reasons I can't begin to understand. When you all start a plane, you start at ground level and build up. I'm stuck in the basement. Nat- Thanks for your kind words, but they really should be directed to Pete. Aside from asking for assistance and supplying Pete with some pictures and blueprints, Pete did all the modelling and OP file work, which represents 95% of the labour on the project to date. I would try to build/finish the T34 as a non moving vehicle, when the rata is finished. Maybe someone else is faster.

Laika- Since it'll a while before you need the T34, I won't send it just yet so it's not taking up HD space for you. Just let me know when you're ready. If you can get the T34 to work as a non-moving object, I could probably take it from there and tinker with making it move. Werner,In the basic KingTiger configuration I now have the T-34 working in SDOE. It doesn't have DOFs for the turret or hatch, but I'm getting ready to send it to you. I basically did a make-over to it and reimported it in OPS, replacing the KingTiger parts. This time, for who knows why, it worked! So for now it's a non-moving vehicle and you can place it and shoot it like the other objects in the game. I'm going to try and fix the turret real quick also, the mapping needs a little fixing.
