Sturm Spieler Cadet	posted 02-25- 10:17 AM Hey everybody! listen I wanted to say first what an incredible job everyone has done working on p.p.3. I especially love the opening canopies. My questions are these... now that everyone has p.p. 3 done, how bout some more missions? I'm not exactly an expert at writing missions so I just leave it to the SDOE gods. Unfortunatly, I can't find any new missions. I'm a realist, so for me what would be cool is to see some missions that start inside the new Gp hanger WITH the canopy already open. Can this be done? I'm also a fan of the german planes mostly, so I like to fly on their side, (fw's rock.) I've tried to put a plane under a hanger but it's impossible! I call upon the SDOE god's MORE MISSIONS PLEASE. I am including all the new planes as well as the old ones and should have them for download at my page by tomorrow night. There will be around 700-1000 online missions. Ronin Pilot	posted 02-25- 07:11 PM Sturm S- Yes, it is possible to start a mission with the canopy only. But... (Theres always a but huh!...) But, the aircraft models have to be created with the canopy open as its initial position. If we do that then any AI planes that you add will be out there flying around with open canopies. Also, if your own plane has a mission parameter to start airborne it will start airborne with its canopy open. Ronin IP: Logged
Razor747 Pilot	posted 02-25- 07:27 PM The only way I know to make the canopy open when you start the mission is to have the canopy & gear on the same key press "G". silas Pilot	posted 02-26- 12:36 AM Boy that's a lot of missions. Would it be a good idea to put all the online missions in a par file? I know someone put 200+ missions in a data7.par file and posted it, I'm sorry but I can' remember who. spin Pilot	posted 02-26- 08:05 AM That would be me. See my signature. I don't think a thousand missions is a good idea. You will suffer from desktop city for sure. Be selective in how many missions you put in your multiplayer folder. I am planning to reduce the size of the mission pack to less than 250 (probably 200) but I need to figure out what missions will go in. I find I desktop more frequently if I have too many missions. I believe this is one of the things that contributes to the desktop bug.
