well my roomate has a c-media chip set on his mb like myself and gee wouldnt ya figure ms sticks dont like it.He resolved this issue with a logitech extreme digital(nice stick)I bought another sound card(havent installed yet) but i will when my stick acts up again.I just may but the extreme digital logiteck too tho,it has twist rudder 8 programable buttons and a nice spring tension to it.It was also easy to install no conflicts or not connected messages like ms sticks.Just thought i steer a couple guys in a good direction as it is a moderstely priced stick for about 68 bucks including taxes Canadian,I'm sure our American neighbors get it alot cheaper

I like the three hats on my Wingman intercept but no twist. If i didn't have this I would get the stick Hawker is talking about.

Yep-I've been preaching the Logitech Digital Extreme 3D to anyone who will listen and wants an inexpensive, reliable stick with a twist rudder control. Its been a pleasant surprise for me.

hehe screw doing the sound card for now i had a couple probs with my msff stick,so I went and bought a logitech 3d extreme too,I LIKE IT
