Author Topic:   Realistic Spit Cockpits and PP5.3 ArthurQ Pilot posted 02-20- 05:39 PM                Anybody else tried putting the realistic spit cockpit into the spit1a folder in PP5.3? My textures are all screwed up from inside the cockpit. I also can't get Meatwater's sounds to work on the spit MkVb. I haven't even tried the realistic cockpit for it since the sim doesn't seem to recognize the folder that I name for it in the aircraft folder. I've tried various combinations of names for the MkVb folder put no luck. Fortunately, Meatwater's sounds work for the Spit1a (although the add on cockpit textures are all screwed up). The Spit IXe seems to be ok with Meatwater's sounds and the realistic cockpit textures.Go figure. Any suggestions anyone? The Spit1a cockpit worked just fine in PP5.2. I'm not real fond of the default Spit cockpits since I've been spoiled with J.Trivelli's realistic cockpits.
