Havent seen instructions for opening the cockpits yet , where are they???

This needs to be in your keyboard.inp file in the root SDOE directory.

cmdCanopyToggle = Q

Then just press Q to open and close the canopy of the plane you are flying. (as long as it's been put into that plane)
