I could be wrong about this, but at the World War I Aero site http://www.exp-aircraft.com/aircraft/ww1aero/ww1aero.html under where it says additional services (I repeat "services") it says this:
P3V, the only computer program to develop a 3-view drawing from a single photograph. Could this be what is meant by the first post in this thread? I'm also assuming that this P3V is not available for purchase, but is some kind of program they use to make a 3-view for you for a fee. Like I said, I could be wrong. It would be an incredible feat to make a 3D model from a photo, without cross sections and other info...I don't think so. Just my $.02. oops! Nevermind.......thanks Nuum, your the man. dauntless851

Spanky here... From what i saw at the homepage it looks pretty cool. I don't think it will be acurate enough for planes but i looks like it could be pretty damn cool for buildings and stuff like that. I'm going to get it and take a look. IP: Logged |

Spanky here.. Well i just did the first tutorial and its pretty damn cool. Like i said i don't think it will much use for planes but it will be great for putting buildings you see around your town that would be cool in fighter squad. This sucker does all the texture and 3d in a couple easy steps. Now i just have to think of a cool building in town to put in the game. You could also do a 3d polygon tree hehe.
It would be pretty damn blocky though
