I think it would be nice if more people used Roger wilco. It adds a degree of realism to the game. Get it at www.resounding.com We have set up two base stations. Use the appropiate station when flying online. For the allies: 205.240.163.12/510mhz For the germans: 205.240.163.12/511mhz When you get into an online mission hit alt enter to minimize SDOE then select or enter the above frequency exactly as listed above including the /---mhz. This only takes a second to do and will keep your communications secure. If your having problems someone will help you don't be afraid to ask. IP: Logged |

I would say 6 people to a channel is a nice number but you can go higher. And occasionally the base stations are down like any web site.IP: Logged |

No limit for the RW basestation, except bandwidth of course. I believe there was a limit of about 30 in the early beta phase about a year ago, but now there's no limit. When there's more than about 6 players on the same channel, things can get a bit chaotic Radio discipline is important! I recommend everyone uses their callsign as their "signature" when they talk on RW. Example: "Spanky, break right, I'm coming, Camo." Simple and effective Camo

I have and use RW, yes it is GREAT !. I also have a SDOE 1.3 bit when I put in a RW Freq number and hit start, nothing happens on the SDOE 1.3. Is there a trick to this ? Or do I have to start the RW by it's self first.IP: Logged |

It would also be good idea when you are finished with talking on rw a say "Over". "Spanky, break right, I'm coming, Camo, Over". This way the other people on rw know that they can talk now. I've used rw on alot of games and when you get 3 or more people using it, this is a must, its a pain when 2 or more are trying to talk at the same time. Himdog out.IP: Logged |

I agree with himdog. When you get more than 3 people on RW..mass confusion starts unless you have some kind of radio procdures to follow. Please check out http://flightsimmers.net/airbase/noflyers/RogerWilco.htm IP: Logged |

Spanky here... Ah i just remembered what i don't like about using RW. First my mic sucks. That can be easily fixed. The other one. You have to turn down your game sounds to hear everyone on RW. that just sucks ass. Either that or everything is too loud. IP: Logged |

Sun Tzu, sdoe control 1.3 only runs Rw if you have it installed on your system. The name and Ips box is a form of database to keep the numbers handy. Sdoe control 1.4 will call up rw and insert the ip for you, but I'm waiting to see the patch before I finalise it in case there's a few ini lines that are worth adding. cheers

Himdog, that's why I use my callsign in the end. So that I don't have to remember to say "over" all the time Camo IP: Logged |

rgr that camo. I've been using it on soooo many other games that you don't have a "handle" on. So I say "over" on them, but I see where you are coming and it makes good logic to use your handle instead of saying "over". Thanks for clearing it up. Himdog out.IP: Logged |

I fired up my RW and put in the ip above but received a message stating that it could not locate that IP. I thought base stations were supose to be on 24/7. Do I need to put in join or create when no one else is on it ? Also, will you PLEASE read the last message on the SDOE $12.90 message posted, I could use some help there.------------------ Suns Site http://nosuntzu.homestead.com/index.html

You select JOIN then put in that IP. Also as mentioned before, the site goes down at times and today was one of them. Try this too, add the same ip but minus the /510mhz and you'll get an ongoing recorded message, it's useful to check your sound levels/setup correctly. cheers
