Whats that mean?People should take the extra second and post stuff where it should go. Like "I need help" should go in the "help" area. Ect,ect. Thats what these forums are for. Kopper, you there? ------------------

Kopper has been very bussy with researching information for a new book. I think it's going to be about Alberta in the 20th Century.. or something like that

Spanky here.. I love all the different sections as much as You guys but alot of people don't seem to read the other ones. If i post something in a place other then general or projects half the time never it never gets read or answered one more if we actually use all the other sections why do we need general? I would love it if stuff was moved from general to the other areas after 2 days of not being added to.

Hey, I read the other areas.... even ones I don't need to.. like the opps folders... I don't know how to use it, but I drop in and see what is what...

I do to. But it is kind of a pain to have to click through all the forums to see all the new messages. If you do post a question in one of the other forums it always gets answered though.. and email/ICQ is always better for private messages. TS

What I meant by SSSSSSOOOO MUCH FOR THE FRIENDLY SKYS was.. as my JEWISH FATHER use to say is "LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION" you go where the people are ! I see this board gets more action than any other, I do post my REQUEST FOR HELP on the HELP BOARD but do not get the responses I get here !. But if it does bother some of yous that much, I will just keep my questions to my self.

It´s hard enough to keep up with the news for SDOE and it took a lot of online time (=money) to read all the interesting topics. It is harder for me when I had to jump between the topics to find what I want.
So Sun Tzu when you like the Friendly Skys of this message board please be so friendly and post your questions where they belong to  and I´m sure you will get answers ! what a bad english - sorry !

I agree. It's pretty much useless posting in some of those off the wall threads, as they hardly are even seen. If you want people to notice something I say the general forum is the way to go. Of course since it IS general it's expected to get cluttered up with stuff. I don't see any harm in that. You can always post your first eye catcher topic here and guide people to another forum at the the close of your post.IP: Logged |

If we aren't going to use the other forums and nobody reads them then why do we have them? Recently, three of us had the same problem (disappearing allied pilots) posted in the Help forum. There was no response for three days until silas (one of the people with the problem) figured out the cause. The fix was finally posted in the General area. The Help requests were never answered in Help by anyone with the fix, or even an idea as to what the fix is. The three of us tried to not clutter up the General area with problems we at first thought were unique to our set-ups and wouldn't concern most people. So much for trying to be polite.  Why don't we just lump General, Help, Projects, Contest, WWI, Downloads, Sites, etc. into General and get it over with, since clicking a mouse to find topics you are interested in seems to be so much trouble? Hey, let's throw in Off Topic and Jade's Playpen too. Think of all the decision making it would save! Sorry for the rant. It really belongs in Flame Wars but let's be consistant and leave everything in General like most of you seem to prefer.
