I go online regularly for a few hours each night. I really want to fly online but no one ever seems to be in the lobbies.
I was wondering if people could check into the lobbies every hour. ie if you go one at 9:27pm check in at 10:00pm to see if anyone else is there.

This would prevent people going at anytime. ie one person goes in at 9:27pm and leaves because no-one is there and someone else goes in at 9:29pm missing the other by a few minutes.

If every one went in at a certain time regularly then the more we could fly online.
I know there is the Sunday thing but that is just once a week.

Tell me what you think. I'm usually in there at 10:00pm Irish time.

There are at least two resources that can help you find people online without wasting time. The first is Spanky's icq activelist, which is nice because it's in real time. The second is the BCATP online pilots roster, which you can view by going to the barracks section of the BCATP (link below). If you want to add yourself to the online pilots roster, drop me an email: keepinga@cadvision.com for more info about the activelist, sent Spanky one.

I've added your info to the roster. It's now up to you to use the resource as you see fit. You can add the icq numbers from other users to your list to see when they're on (all those in the european roster, for example), you can email other players and see what they think about their squads (most squad members have their full designations listed on the roster, and thus are easy to pick out). Basically the roster is for locating people and getting their icq address and like spyder said, in real time you can check out the server listings by clicking on the link off the FSIC main page.
