I've been looking over a few post the last few days about people wanting to make planes and other people telling how to do it and what they need to do right, or not do the plane at all. There really is nothing wrong with this. but! I think if you want to do a plane and you think you can do it. then by all means go ahead. If build a P-39 Aircobra (just an example and the outside looks like an aircobra, but it has a P51 cockpit and FM. This is ok! The SDOE community has a whole is the best community out on the net.

If your good at making the planes. but not good at the other stuff. then just make as many planes as you can. You worry about making the model look the best it can. I'm sure someone that knows how to do cockpits or FM work that likes your plane will pick it up and help further the development of it. Thats the great thing about this community. I get the feeling that a few people working on somethings have forgot'n how good it feels to just play around with this stuff. I have more fun just seeing what kind of new models I can do, then draggin out a model that i've been working on for weeks. This is all fun guys. Enjoy what your doing or don't do it.

I don't mind that planes take a while to come out. it's hard work. But the moment it becomes work, and no longer fun, that's when I step out.

Life's short guys. Enjoy it! And if you have some free time. Make some planes!

K I'm gettting sick of agreeing with people but what can you do!

I think your totally right. Make your plane hack your plane. Make a flying santa. People will use it maybe not many but people will at least DL it and fly it once.

some of the most fun i have had with this game is flying Razor747's VTOL lanc. Have you guys flown that thing? its a blast.

Another thing me and made dog played with was a lanc that we started to convert to an lanc/A10 hehe we were going to make a 7 barrel gun come out of the bombbay and push the wings down and back. and then put 3 262 engines on each side of the rear fuse on a bracket. Never got done but we had fun trying.

One more thing? we took the zero and made its cannons have 500lbs of explosive. Now that was FUN. hehe.

Any way have fun. Make what you want. If people like it they will fix it and it will get used online.

Here, here! I agree. Create to your hearts cntent everyone. Have fun, and share it with us (me). Make it and I'll break it. Of course, I break everything I fly, so that's not saying much.

If someone takes the time to fly one of my planes and then thoughtfuly comment on what they would like to see done with it - I really highly consider that request.

I suppose it is different for each person - if you just want to have, by al means, go nuts! No one should be upset by this. On the other hand I bet there are people like me who have more ful doing all this together in a cummunity.

It's like most things (well maybe huy things) - its fun to go out and play a game of football, raise some hell at work/school, go fishing, whatever - but the real fun comes in the telling and retelling of the story.

I would not make planes just for myself. The feedback on-line and at this forum (good and bad) keep me going and make it fun. Nothing kicks more ass than releasing a new version of a plane and haveing it cause a 50+ message thread full of contraversy
