I've added a single-page list of FS sites, culled from the section here. You can get to it through the main site page.Also... We're Hiring! If you're a programmer or artist and you'd like to do OpenPlane "stuff" full-time, head over to www.inertiagames.com and check out the listings. We're in a hurry to hire, so these positions will be going fast. IP: Logged |

Do these positions (artist) require relocating to Dallas area? Are they full-time, or would part-time be a consideration? What if you have never worked on a game professionaly but would like to get started in the industry, thus having no real "experience"? IP: Logged |

Spanky here... I'm glad to see your hiring It can only mean things are good or at least better You might already use this site but then again maybe not. Have you been here? http://www.gamasutra.com/ They call it the art and science of making games. Its for developers and people in the gaming industry. Its also great for seeing some stuff behind the scenes of making games for us players and want to be scene people. The reason i direct you there MH is you can put up job offers there. Plus i'm sure thers stuff you can learn there. Lots of articals on stuff about game development. IP: Logged |

Dan: These particular positions are full-time (in the dallas area) but we're also on the lookout for people willing and able to do contract work. Pure talent can often overcome inexperience, especially with an art position. If you're interested, send a portfolio. Spanks: Yes, we're familar with Gama. I plan on posting there later today. It's a very good site.

I've got about 1 year left in my current job, that and I am a pain in the wazoo. I'll hopefully have better skills in a year, but who knows. I do have a friend who is very trainable in Austin, but alas, he has 14months left.IP: Logged |

MH, Do you forsee Inertia having another hiring phase in about 6 to 12 months from now or is this pretty much it for a long, long time? Also, is knowledge of WWII subject matter, particularly planes and vehicles a big plus, or are you guys planning on branching out to different kinds of games/sims? IP: Logged |

I'd say that's a big YES on the branching out part JT I mean, look at that RC Simulator, those pics are amazing! Can't wait to fly that thing. Plus they are already talking about expansion for that as well. But hopefully the WWII/SDOE and future type sims will continue being made. If they are looking for new help I think that says it all, things must be looking UP for Inertia. IP: Logged |

JT: If things go the way we want, that would be a big yes to another hiring phase in about six months. We still want to do the Pacific sim and we've got many other aircraft simmy ideas we'd like to follow up on."Also, is knowledge of WWII subject matter, particularly planes and vehicles a big plus, or are you guys planning on branching out to different kinds of games/sims?" Yes.
