Well.....since I can't make a plane, I've settled with doing a campaign. It will be a Battle of Britain campaign, with about 30 missions. You'll need PP 5.3 and a Spit MK.I.

Yeah, we can never have enough good missions. Make the pack good and it will be flown.

I agree- mine was quite broad as it covered the Battle for France and Britain. Part 3 which has been put on hold with this Nations Project I'm involved in covers D-Day and the Allied occupation of France. I may go as far as the Bulge, but I'm not sure as there isn't much France to work with. The I should do a Rhineland campaign, although I have been adding a Rhineland mission into my Dover campaigns here and there. Before I do the Rhineland, I may use the Rhineland and Rhineland Winters terrains to do a Stalingrad campaign first...just need some Russian planes to make it all complete

Jeeves, don't use Rhineland, use Tundra, and mark out the airfields using trucks and AA and other objects. Makes the front look more like it was with improvised strips and all.... It would be nice if some OPP wizard could do some towns and Airfields for Tundra so we can use it for operations like Soviet campaigns....

We have a lot of new planes coming. I think we need some dedicated mission and campaign designers in order to use all those planes!!

For offline missions, PLEEEEEASE include a briefing for each squad., including at least the plane type, number, and the type of mission. Example: Spit IX (3), Fighter sweep.

Also, I thing that offline missions should be slighly off balance to favor the AI a little. I am experiencing with that right now.

The tendency is to make the mission balanced, so it can be played on either side. I thing that more challenging missions can be made by creating a bigger challenge for the player side. This would mean that missions and mini-campaigns should be designed with one side in mind.

Also, please group our missions in a separate directory (the basic idae of mini-campaigns).

Please base your missions and campaigns on the upcoming PP3!!

Mirthain-

From what I remember, Tundra is a HUGE download, right? Is it anything like Island? I have that one and can't get it to work in the game for the life of me (even after following the directions). My machine can't take too many more huge files. In using the 2 Rhineland terrains, I was thinking of two things:

1. More people probably have RhinelandWinter than Tundra.

2. A good chunk of the Eastern War was fought right along the border- and Rhineland could be adapted through the missions into two sides of the "border".

If you could tell me where I can get Tundra, I'll look into it again though. Thanks!

This campaingn of mine: It will have quite a good deal of bomber interception missions, since that was what happened in real life. It may be a bit boring with a lot of the same, but I'm trying to build in a little variation.

And a Heinkel III or a Do-17, + Bryan Russels Hurri. How far have you got on that one, Bryan?

Ditto the Stuka bit. I think after 'claiming' the project, the Stuka is now tasting the bottom of rtd&pz's priority bin. Of course, the Tunderbolt will be nice when it's finished, too.
