Wouldn't it be nice to have a Screamin Demons award presentation. It would have nothing to do with the Contest. Just a way to recognise those guys that have worked so hard, and sometimes with very little recognition..cough..Zur...cough...to help make SDOE a better game than it was a year ago.

I'm not sure what all the categories would be, but I'm sure we could think of some good ones. I know I would just like to show the great guys who work long hours with very little, or no reward that we truely appreciate there efforts.

Some of the work doesn't manifest itself in a new plane they can point to, sometimes it's the skins, or the flight model, or terrain innovations, or missions, or heck, I don't know! You guys get the point though I'm sure.

I have some guys I would love to see nominated for the work they have done, I'm sure you guys do too.

Now, if we only had a little Demon statue.

Seriously, it's work without much recognition, and it's some of the most important work there is.

I second, or third the nomination for SV and his work on Open Plane documentation, not to mention the WWI work! And how about Bryan Russel, and Jeeves, Dan W, Hippie, etc.

We should get some concrete categories and then have a process to submit nominations prior to selection.

Lot's of guys, have done lot's of great things in the last year to make SDOE what is, and will be.

It will really be nice to see them recognised.

O.k. who can make a "Screamin Demon" trophy?

Actually ... I owe everything to Tailslide ... I went into this FM'ing thing with absolutely NOTHING but a desire to figure out what made the FM tick ...

Thanks to goes out to Tail for putting up with my constant questioning and his good eye to spot where I was scrwing up.

So .... I vote for Tailslide for:

1.) Being the "founding-father" of the PlanePack.

2.) being my "Jedi Master" when I needed the force.

Tailslide ... " I feel the FM force is strong in this one ... he's just such an ass". - Tails innital impression of me.
