I started to get the itch to get shot down again after an extended break from on-line play...
The Activision HTML page says that there are a few games being played right now on California12 such as pp5.2 JV44_Naturlich 6/16 and Fighter Squadron 1.5 2/30. When I log in through FS and select California12, it displays Fighter Squadron 1.5.1 0/30. When I log in, no one is there. I'm using 1.5.1.65 and planepack 5.2. Does anyone have any ideas?

Ongoing games dont show up. Wait for one to end and the players will be back in the lobby.

The funny thing is that on the HTML page I see two lobbies, Fighter Squadron 1.5 and Aces Den 1.5. The Fighter Squadron 1.5 lobby has a few users out of thirty listed (3/30).
When I try to log in through the Fighter Squadron Network button, I see only one Lobby, which is called Fighter Squadron 1.5.1. I don't see Fighter Squadron 1.5 (no .1), or Aces Den 1.5. I also don't see other users, even if I wait for a while. In all cases I'm logging into California12. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't think it will work it you're playing with build 65 since no one else is using it online.
Run FS 1.5 with PP5.2 and you should have it made.

Ah yes silly me i didnt notice that.
The 1.5.1-beta stream is not compatible with 1.5 online.

Thanks. I tried running the 1.5 updater, but it seems like I can't 'down-date' the software. Must I reinstall from CD?

Technically if youre running the fightersquadron.exe youre still using 1.5 afaik. The beta's executable is app.exe

Incidentally, is that lothar, as in lothar of the hill people? I loved that sketch.

Thanks guys.
I was getting thrown off because my original EXE did not report a version number on the main FS menu, so I assumed it was 1.0. It was indeed 1.5, which allowed me to get involved in a couple of games last night and prove that I can still be shot down.
