If a child object dies, can that death take out the parent as well? If this is possible then the moving ground objects will work correctly upon killing the moving children. I'm reading the OP spec but am still unsure.

Yes,

There may be many was to do this, here is one:

On the child object add something like OnDetach(obExecute 'funcKill)

Now on the parent object put
obFunc ('funcKill (obDetach))

The syntax is wrong, but the ideas is correct - I have done this.

Cool! Do you know what this means? It means now the moving objects (the ones that you shoot at) will die, killing the invisible parents and you'll get correct scoring now! GREAT! Thanks SV
