nealg Pilot	posted 02-05- 04:49 PM Man!! As much as I would like to, I am using 5.3 beta in a test installation, with absolutely no additions, mods, objects, or extras of any kind except missions. Yardstick Pilot	posted 02-05- 05:03 PM A few of us tried 5.3beta on-line last night and it was a blast. The new aircraft are great but even the hackneyed old missions are transformed by the new FMs (congratulations to Tailslide, Zurawski et al for their hard work). I think those that turn up on Sunday will be pleasantly surprised by the difference that new planes make. We now need some more missions on-line with the new planes as well as the neglected old ones notably the Mosquito and Typhoon. See you all there. ------------------ Yardstick painted this IP: Logged

Of course- they probably aren't the best choice for online since there are so many planes and ground objects in them- but hey...who knows! IP: Logged

Missions!!!!!!!!!! I've made a chit-load for 5.3, all Historical Fighter Match-ups for online play! ******* All missions are in the 2,4,6,8,10 player varities************* Spit1 vs 109E Spit5 vs 109F Spit9 vs 190a8 P38 vs 109g P51d vs 109k Spit9 vs 109k P51d vs 190d9 All missions made for 5.3,all start in air at low alt on either side of Largest Mtn Range in the Rhineland. I'll pass em out if anyone's interested. I excluded bombers to test out the FM's of the fighters and keep frames fast. And YES,5.3 works great Online and the New FM's Rock! Rattler IP: Logged
