(from the balloon thread)... I've found you can have LONG dof oscillation times! If you wait with the Saratoga, it takes 90 minutes to go through it's motions in ONE LOOP (to cross the ocean map in Africa)! That's so cool!

I'm going to try this with the new balloon... it should be really neat to see a balloon go way up, hover around for a while and then come back down after 10-20 minutes or whatever you wish VERY cool! Balloons are ground objects though and I'm not having lots of success with them but I'll do my best to make it work (sounds really fun to me).

Also I'm making headway with the moving ground vehicles (as in tanks/trucks) stuff as well. Don't count it out just yet. I'm messing with vehicle weights and engines. Here's what I'm thinking. If I could just get a simple truck/plane thingy I made to follow the waypoints I'm setting we'll be set. So far the truck either moves and attempts to take off, or it's so heavy as to overcome inertia (not the company) it stands still. I then thought to just remove the wings and really was hoping that'd work, but then the thing (AI that is) refused to even start it up. But I did have a really heavy truck that I could drive around. It had a very nice feel to it... so if anything I could do a vehicle conversion, rename files and have a group of "aircraft property" type vehicles to drive around, maybe even online. This truck felt better than ANY of the funky vehicles to date. (no offense, I'm just saying)

I AM DETERMINED to make this work!

Pete,

Honestly, if you're messing around with ground vehicles and tanks would you mind making that quick fix on the T34 to get it operable? Archy's busy with the Tiger and I'm working on my site and on nations, so if you were to do that it would kill two birds with one stone.

If you make any findings with ground vehicles that are of particular significance, please email them to Archy and myself - we'd appreciate it!

Werner

Werner,

It's something internal in the model itself. I'm really not sure what it could be. I spent about 4 hours straight on it already, trying to fix it.
